My uncle was just interviewed on a radio station based in a town of about 6,000 people. So, yeah, he's pretty famous.

My stepmom's cousin's husband is/was a famous country singer. He has three names. Jason Michael Carroll or something?

In terms of real family, my great aunt was an actress (Jennifer Gan). She was in an episode of The Monkees and also appeared in the Batman TV series. Later, she began making a lot of appearances in Blaxploitation films in the 70's, starring alongside Pam Grier in one instance.

My Dad's Cousin's son (so my first cousin once removed or something? Not sure how this stuff works) pitches in AAA Nashville. That's about it though.

He is something like a 3rd cousin, or great uncle maybe, but a guy in my family is driving the swamp boat for Tommy Lee Jones in the movie U.S. Marshals. We aren't a very talented bunch.

Career .266 hitter, 7 time American League All-Star, top 25 in MVP voting 5 times, finishing 2nd in 1962. Won 5 Gold Gloves. Won 3 World Series trophies. Won the 1960 World Series MVP, even though the Yankees lost the series.

I'm speaking of course about Bobby Richardson. I'm likely very biased in this, but I think he should be in the Hall of Fame, ahead of Bill Mazeroski. (granted, Mazeroski shouldn't even be in the Hall of Fame, but whatever).

Since I dabble in genealogy I know that I'm related to a lot of famous people, most notably Pocahontas, the Everly Brothers, Doc and Jimmy Johnston (members of the 1920 Cleveland Indians and Brooklyn Dodgers, who played against each other in that year's World Series), and a number of Kings of Scotland.
