Re: Are there rooms in your house you don't use?

My wife and I have a 4 bedroom house. 1 bedroom is the master bedroom, 1 is the guest room, 1 is my man room and 1 is my wife's craft-room. We don't use the guest room at all, my wife uses her craft-room a few times a week and I have to say that since I've moved my 360 to my bedroom I haven't been in my man room at all. I spent a little over a week while playing The Last of Us and haven't even turned on the TV or PS3 since completing it. I'm currently in the process of trying to knock out Curb Your Enthusiasm on HBO Go so I can move the 360 back in the man room. I hate to see the room go to waste, you know?

My wife and I rent a 4-bedroom house, and the last of the kids just moved out in June. We use the master bedroom downstairs, kitchen, living room. The downstairs half-bath gets used in gastric emergencies when the other one of us is in the master bath lol.

My wife uses the fourth bedroom above the garage as her den and is up there for a few hours during the week most days, brushing up on her coding skills to get a job (and job searching).

My son's old room is now a guest room and has a bathroom suite as well.

The other room upstairs I was using for a music studio but I've kinda stopped with that the past couple years.

So next year, I think we may downsize to a 2 or 3 bedroom place.

Every room in our home is used. My wife and I have 4 boys in our 3 bedroom home. This old house will one day let out a sigh when we move.

I don't use the foyer, parlor, terrace or wine cellar.

But only because I don't have 'em.

The spare bedroom only gets used when my in-laws come into town. We have a two bedroom/1bath guest house and one of the rooms my wife has for a craft room and the other is storing her holiday stuff. I would say that each room is visitied some, just on slim occasions.

I live in a 3 story house and yeah..way too many rooms. Just like you said OP, living room and dining room go completely unused. There's a walk in closet that could be a bedroom but its just storing old junk.

Spare bedrooms rarely get used unless we have people staying with us. Dining room doesn't get used much since we usually eat at the breakfast bar or in the living room on the rare occasion we eat at home.

We just moved out of that apartment and into a 1200 sq ft with two bedrooms and vaulted ceilings. We don't have enough stuff to fill the living areas... Lol... Our dining room table looks sad in a big dining room, and we have empty cabinets in our kitchen.

Lol we went from 900ish sq ft condo to a 3 bedroom house at 1700 sq ft. At first it was a lot of empty, but we added furniture fast lol. My fiancee (now wife) had a list of everything she wanted lol
