Help with multiple Windows accounts
So I'll start out by explaining what I'm trying to do and if anyone could explain how to do this I would be appreciative. I run Windows 7 on my laptop. I have set up two Windows User Accounts. The first is my personal windows login (Administrator). The second is one I setup for work (also an Administrator account). What I was trying to do is have a separate Windows Login where I would download all my companies' programs and keep work files so they would be separate of my personal login. However, when I'm logged into my work windows user account and I download programs, I notice they cross over to my personal account. I'm just assuming this is because the programs are being downloaded to my C:// and so they show on both windows accounts. So my question is, is what I'm trying to do possible? Would it involve partitioning my hard drive? Or is there a simpler way that I'm just not aware of? There are simpler ways. When you install programs, they should ask if you want to be able to use the program for just that user or for all users, then you can also encrypt your user files so other users cannot access them.
To totally separate them, you would need to get another hard drive if you have a slot to add it. Then you could put them on each drive. -
