Re: Am I the Only One On the Planet That...
Just to piggyback this, humans are not only the only species on the planet that consumes milk after the stage of infancy but are also the only species that drinks the milk of a different species at ANY stage of life. Point blank: the only milk we are "supposed" to consume is that of our mother's and only during infancy. Anything beyond that is overkill.
I use soy or almond milk (both are dairy free) on my cereal and I use chocolate soy milk (also dairy free) in my protein shakes. The only time I ever consume dairy milk is when I treat myself to a scoop or two of ice cream and that is a rarity.Comment

Milk on its own is not something I do, unless I chug a couple of cups for quick heartburn relief.
Obviously in cereal.Comment

I actually find most of that store bought chocolate milk to thick/rich for my taste.
That seems rather wasteful. Why size cartons/jugs do you get? When I buy milk I always look for jugs with a sell by date at least 10 days after the current date, though my mom always told me that it would still be good for about another 10 days after that.Steelers : IX, X, XIII, XIV, XL, XLIII

I'm with you. I can't stand milk - cold or warm. And generally, I don't like drinks that aren't transparent/semi-transparent - as I never too sure what I might find in there at the bottom of the glass...
I don't drink any kind of coffee, or any other drink with milk. I eat lots of cheese, if that makes up for it...I hope.My Specs:

Organic milk undergoes a different type of preservation process that kills all the bacteria where pasteurization does not.Oakland Athletics San Jose Sharks
