I commented about it in the OT thread...who knows what initially happened but no reason for the biker to stop short like that.

Word is after that, the bikers started to hit the car and slash tires...I don't think the Rover was in the wrong if that's the case.

Yea, there's no reason, on a freaking highway, that you stop your bike like that. No idea why that biker stopped short. Seems like they instigated this to me.

Same people, feel free to fast forward to around the 1:10 mark where they block in a car, punch its window, and knock its mirror off. Its a pack mentality, since there are so many there then the likelihood of getting caught is very slim.

Blocking cars, riding on sidewalks, running red lights, failing to stop or yield, punching cars with blades to puncture tires etc..

Its the same people, good ole Hollywood Stuntz or whatever.

Its a shame they get away with this time and time again.

Man, they weren't even the cool kind of bikers. I was expecting some Sons of Anarchy ****, not 20 year old douches riding bikes their dads bought them.

From the article I read it said the bikers pulled up beside and then on of them cut them off and then hit the brakes. I think the car may have also brushed one of the bikers while they were around them.

That's supposedly what started it.

Exactly...reckless driving at its finest.

Also, the Rover stopped after he hit the biker...then proceeded to be welcomed with his tires being slashed and SUV hit.

If that's the story, I have no issues with how the driver floored it.

I doubt, especially after older videos are surfacing, that the SUV driver will face any charges. I, also, don't think a man with his wife and 2 year old would have done anything to provoke a large group like this.

In the vid Crimson posted, they surrounded a hybrid for trying to make a LEGAL turn..just so they can cross the street, ILLEGALLY.

I'm finding it extremely difficult to sympathize with the one who may never walk again.

As someone who has been severely hurt by a motor vehicle, I would never wish that on anybody...HOWEVER THESE GUYS DESERVE WHAT HAPPENED TO THEM! I read that one rider is paralyzed from the waist down. I hope he regrets his actions. What goes around comes around.

That being said, I would have done the same thing as the Range Rover driver.

What happen to you and what to this guy (if true) is apples and oranges. You were completely innocent, these guys were not.

Just to play Devils Advocate, even if the Range Rover driver did do something to them initially, it isn't their place to take the law into their own hands. Whatever happened was a direct result of no ones actions, but their own. So like you said, what they got, they deserved.

Here's what the aunt of the paralyzed rider had to say.

Mieses’ aunt, Delilah Domenech, told NBC News her nephew was “an innocent bystander” in the confrontation and only got off his bike to check on Cruz after he was clipped by Lien.
"This man with a Range Rover and luxury lifestyle — it's OK for him to do something to someone because he rides a bike or has tattoos?" she said.
"It should be acknowledged that what he did was wrong," she added. "He had many other options but he chose the violent one."

It is unfortunate that this man is paralyzed now. However, there are sometimes consequences for who you associate yourself with. Surround yourself with *******s and you might get burned.
