    Ha. But you know what? I think coloring old BW photos is the best way to make kids/teenagers being interested in the past. Think about it, as a kid, when you see some BW photo of grandpa it's 'boring', it's 'ugly'. If you show a kid a colored photo, it's just like today's photos, you eliminate the "who cares about this 500 y/o boring BW photo?". It also applied to movies, in my opinion.

    I agree that BW is authentic and the way to go, but color can be helpful when it comes to youngsters learning about that past.

      Meh, you're either interested in it or you're not. BW or color photos aren't going to sway an individual one way or the other.

      We all were young when first learning about The Civil War and became interested in some facet just b/c it is interesting, not b/c of BW photos.
