Saw this posted on my FB wall and most of these tips are brilliant. Also I think this would be a good thread for OS to share tips and tricks they use everyday to make things easier and to also reuse stuff that would normally be considered trash.

Using a stick of spaghetti to light a hard to reach wick is a game changer. Those glass jars are not meant for male hands. Can't tell you the number of times I've nearly burnt my hand trying to light one when the misses is no where to be found.

I need to remember this for birthday candles too....Sometimes they go out way too fast and you burn yourself trying to light a bunch with one of the lit candles.

I at the one about telling exits apart. I mean, the fact it says "LEFT" right on the sign I think tells you it is on the left.

I used toothpaste on my headlights this summer. It was a magical experience. I almost didn't want it to end. Worked like a charm.

Haha yeah they were stretching for that one. I mean, any time an exit is not to the right, they specify that it's "exit left".
