Car guys, how bad is it if your car makes a clicking sound when you try and start it? It's been taking 2 or 3 tries to start lately, I figured it was because of the cold, today it made it's usual weak effort on the first try, but then after that all it did was make clicking noises while the dash lights flickered. It's totaled right?

The cold weather we have had down here finished off my wife's 3 or 4 year old battery a few mornings ago. Take your battery to NAPA or AutoZone or whomever your auto parts stores are up there and have them test it for you. That's your simplest and cheapest troubleshoot, and sounds likely that it's just a dead battery.

Is Uncharted 2 a lot like TLOU? I'd like a break from that controller scheme.

I should add that I already own all these games. I buy games and don't play them. I'm weird.

Don't play Uncharted then. Naughty Dog is pretty much the same in that regard with all their games. Even worse are the bullets can be like candy to the enemies at times. I liked the game a lot, but wouldn't recommend it for your next game if that's the case.

I'd go with FarCry, but like ITT says, the story gets a bit weird. Main thing is once you get to the second island, it loses a bit of luster.

Agreed, though MGS3 is still one of my favorite games of all time.

Don't play Uncharted then. Naughty Dog is pretty much the same in that regard with all their games. Even worse are the bullets can be like candy to the enemies at times. I liked the game a lot, but wouldn't recommend it for your next game if that's the case.

This right here is a complaint I've never understood. It's the same thing in Far Cry 3. Some enemies later in the game wear body armor and helmets. They need to be dealt with by something other than shooting them where they are wearing body armor.

Hell, in Far Cry 3, those heavy guys don't even flinch if you throw a fricking grenade at their feet

Turn the key and there's a click but engine doesn't turn?

Screw it, get a new battery and a new starter. And while you are at it, have your alternator looked at too. When was the last time your car had a tune up ?

There might be enough juice left to work the radio, but not start the car.

Sounds like a bad starter.

But since it's been starting slow, and extreme cold weather extreme hot weather can beat a battery to ****, I would have that checked first since you can just remove it and take it to auto parts store for testing. If it checks out okay, I'd check the starter next like Mabster suggests.

The thing is it makes sense there. In Naughty Dog games I've repeatedly shot unarmored enemies in the head numerous times without dying. It was toned down in TLOU a bit, but still present.

I will say that compared to UC2, UC3 was much worse to me. That mostly stems from level design.
