I had 9 teeth extracted yesterday.
They pulled 4 wisdom teeth and 5 more that were either not even visible or not repairable (is that a word?).
My teeth grew in really strange as a kid and I essentially had more teeth than you're supposed to so everything in the back of my mouth was either messed up or going to be a problem down the road.
I'm supposed to be in my rack sleeping, but I slipped on my NWUs and came up stairs to get on a computer. I'm tired of laying around. Outside of the excessive bleeding and discomfort after the surgery, it hasn't been that bad. My mouth is slightly swollen and a little sore, but I really haven't even needed the three different meds they prescribed me.
I just wish I could eat something besides PB&J, Nutrigrain bars, and yogurt. They won't even let me leave and get chow. Someone has to go to the galley and bring me something to eat. I hate that.. I don't want anyone waiting around and doing **** like that for me.
At least my smile is still intact, along with most of my teeth I eat with.
