Mario Kart was fun, but looking back on it now, it's insane to realize just how cheap the Mario games were. People always joke about comeback modes on MLB,NBA and stuff, Mario games were the king of comebacks.
You could be winning in Mario Kart by like half a lap, and all of a sudden you see 1-2 people speeding down the map and catch up to you. That, or you get hit with 3 blue shells,4 green shells(which aren't even aimable for the person throwing it) and somehow slip on a banana peel that magically appears.
Either way...My fave part of Mario Kart was whenever I played it with someone else. I remember whenever we got to play battle mode on mario kart 64, we ALWAYS chose that block map and each of us drove up to one of them and basically claimed it as our own fort, and after we set up our fort with banana peels and other things, we'd leave it and try to invade other peoples forts and take them down.

We've scored 6, 19 and now 28 tonight. For comparison's sake, I have scored 4, 8 and 13 in those three games. We average just under 18 ppg. I'm at a little over 8 ppg. I have scored almost 50% of our team's points... and that's not for lack of passing. I had 3 assists tonight, and about 15 passes that led to my teammates taking quick shots that they can't make... sigh.MLB: Minnesota Twins

Our team consisted of me, my cousin (who was basically a Matt Bonner without the threes), a kid I had never met (but he wore leg sleeves and an arm sleeve), and two brothers from my old high school.
The brothers were ball hogs, but they're really, really good. It's one of those times where you'll let them hog the ball because they actually can score in iso situations. They probably had 75% of our points every game.Twitter: @TyroneisMaximus

Kinda strange thing happening.
I applied for a job in January(and according to the website,the deadline to apply was the first week of February).
But then I go back to the website just yesterday and I find out the deadline had been moved to a later date. And when I went to check my application, it said the last time I submitted an application was last week(even though I never went on that site all month until yesterday).
So I'm kinda wondering if that's a good thing or what. Don't know why they'd extend the deadline but not even call me for an interview(cause I do meet all the qualifications), but also don't know how my application was supposedly submitted again(though I checked and no changes were made) when I never even touched it. Maybe it's the people at the place I applied who did something? Forwarding it to the next level of applicants or something maybe?Comment
