Also, this is now one of my favorite websites. Without them in front of me, it's fun trying to find the ones I had in the past. So far I've only found 2, that Avengers one and a Batman comic.

Was looking into a online design school but after conversating with people in the field its really not enough to have just that. Most look for a Computer Science degree, Digital Animation or something similar.
Candy you're gonna have to nut up and take a risk if you really want to be a game designer.

Its the mone, cant afford it especially with the current situation im in. Believe me I know all about the what ifs and still think about them every day. Just going to have to except the fact that if I do anything, it will have to be a reasonable skill that extends job opportunities for a more vast job market. Have to study whats needed and not what I want especially the way jobs are now.

I am looking into taking classes to be Microsoft certified (Office, Dynamics, Windows, etc). A lot of jobs involve all these things and being trained in them is a great step to trying to get hired. At least from the research that I have collected shows that there is a demand for that type of knowledge

I do mine in a skillet/microwave combo. It takes less that five minutes. Which is worth it for a nice crispy crust.

Have you actually talked to any student or financial advisors from any colleges or schools you're interested in?

If not - it doesn't hurt to at least see what your options are rather than quickly dismissing them.

                      re: Full Sail University

There's a guy I graduated high school with that was all about photojournalism and video-editing. According to this facebook page he graduated from FSU and he seems to be doing pretty well for himself. Of course its easier to already have an-in than to come out green behind the ears.

Yeah, your financial hardships may actually allow you to get more money from grants or loans.

I was (and still am to an extent) hung up on that stuff too, feeling defeated because I have no savings account and live check to check. But you've got good credit like you posted, and you'll probably be able to get a good chunk of change to pay for school.

After my wedding in a few months, I'm going to aggressively pursue school and all the options available to me. Hell, I plan on doing mostly online courses/blocks and I don't even have a working computer at the moment! I'm 24 and while there's plenty of time, I've got goals and aspirations. Sitting on my *** scared of how I'm going to pay for school isn't helping me. I've been in the workforce long enough to know that this is okay, but it's not enough for me. It's my personal experiences and desire to attain my dreams that will pull me through any doubts and fears I have about how to pay for school or school itself or if it's even worth it. Yeah there's people out there tens of thousands of dollars in debt with a master's degree and still unemployed, but there's a lot more people who have used their education to find success. Having experienced this side of the fence, I feel like I have that little extra bit of drive and determination to not be one of those people who have tons of debt and nothing to show for it.

I'm not sure if it's different with age, etc but I'm probably going to get a degree with my family contributing little $$. Sure I'm gonna be in some debt, but there seems to be plenty of options out there for acquiring school money.
