Re: Off Topic 2014
This dude be coming out to agility/conditioning with the WR gloves on, man. I'm gonna let him "dream" until practice starts. I'm assuming he's gonna quit when I point him towards the linemen that first day.
Speaking of parenting, funny story from a couple years ago.
I had this kid (linemen) that didn't play much at all. I play everyone as long as they bust their *** and known what they're doing. You may not play much, but I'll make sure your parents see you.
A mom comes in and ask why her son doesn't play. I tell her that he doesn't know what he's doing. Her reply? "He's good at guarding".
Was my response.
So I call him over in front of her. I ask him, "What do you do on Jet Left?" He says, "Go right.". I let him know that he goes to the left.
I then ask "what do you do on Belly Right?". He says, "Go left". I let him know that he goes to the right.
Final test. And it's a tricky. I ask, "What do you do on waggle right?". He says.... Go right. I inform he that he goes left.
Mom looks at me with the most blank expression.

Re: Off Topic 2014
I have a girlfriend and I love her. I'm almost 17 (two weeks) and in high school (gonna be a senior this year). Is that great or what? To have a girl I'm proud of and am totally willing to stay with for the rest of my life.
Also, don't judge, I know we're young. But we're both mature and I feel like we will last, unlike most high school relationships.

Re: Off Topic 2014
What Shiz didn't tell you was the final question in that conversation:
Shiz: How do you get to the bench?
Kid: Go left.
Shiz: Good call.Originally posted by BlueNGoldI feel weird for liking a post about exposed penises.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2014
I don't know, it was for me.
Playing college baseball was a complete blast and left me with so many memories.
Can't argue with it not being the best four years of my life thus far so while I understand that might not hold true for everyone I'm not sure how you can tell me or anyone else that it's a line of bull ****.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2014
I didn't have to move out so college was nothing special for me. Plus, I always hated school so I never really immersed myself as much as the typical college student does while they go to college. I had some fun while I was in college, but they were mostly unrelated to anything that actually involved college. Just some great memories during years I happened to be in college with friends I already had. Plus, I'm not exactly the party douche type who sluts around so what typically makes up why people say college is the best time of your life never really applied to me anyway.
I guess what I'm trying to say is I've had great memories before, during, and after college so the actual time being in college has no bearing on me. If I'm in a situation to have a great time, I'm going to have a blast and if I'm in a situation which sucks, I'm going to have a horrible time.Last edited by TheMatrix31; 07-27-2014, 05:30 PM.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2014
As for me, every day gets better for me. I now have disposable income to have the experiences I want to have (Timbers games, etc), some wisdom (I'm still an idiot, but an older one), and I'm making my life take the shape I've always wanted to. Obviously, I know that's not the case for everyone. I had a great time in college, but I wouldn't call it the best days of my life.Rose City 'Til I Die

So it's all downhill from here for you? Isn't that a depressing idea?

After college that's it? Done? 40-60 years of worthlessness then death? Getting married, having kids, having money to do whatever you want to do, those aren't going to live up to the days of getting disgustingly drunk and banging tramps?
I imagine the best days of my life thus far as being a kid and watching wrestling and sports with my bros, going on vacations with my family, having my little sister, best friend, and grandpa still alive to enjoy even the simplest Sunday lunches and lake days with us, etc. I'd venture to say that those days were the best days for my parents too, who moved from garbage countries just to make sure their kids could have those memories.
I guess different people have different priorities. With any luck I'll be able to achieve something good enough to create memories like those for my future family as well.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2014
Who said it's done after college? I just said college is the best 4 years of life. Beautiful women everywhere, living with buddies, no real worries/responsibilities, loved it.
Some of you will overreact about the most simple statements.
Matrix, your post reads as though you are judging people who think college was a blast. Really man? You have different priorities huh? Lol.Last edited by VTPack919; 07-27-2014, 05:42 PM.YNWAComment
