I posted about this a few weeks back, but I decided to get my girlfriend a Claude Giroux jersey since she's obsessed with the Flyers but has never had a jersey before.

Anyways, the one that I got does not have the captain C on it. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get one added? And no, I'm not crafty enough to create my own version of their captain C and sew it on myself lol.

So we learned that one of my best friends is proposing tonight, and the girl's father asked him to tell his close friends to come over tomorrow night at 6:30pm for a small celebration with only close family and friends.

Tomorrow night. At 6:30pm. During Broncos/Colts.

SMFH.

Isn't that kinda weird, anyway? We could take them out on our own to celebrate. Shouldn't that be a family-only thing?

Maybe see if you could return it and get one with a C? Or if you can't, maybe go to a store like footlocker and see if they have anyone there who adds things like that(since some stores obviously do things like that when it comes to adding names/numbers to jerseys,so the C shouldn't be too hard to add). Or if they don't,see if maybe someone there knows of a place that does it.

I'd have to imagine a sporting goods store may do this. Not like a Dick's or Sports Authority, but a Mom&Pop or something.

Your girlfriend has good choice in hockey teams though. You're a good man!

Today is the day my personality has made a legitimate change.

I was walking to work and my roommate calls asking me to come back and let him in. He left without his wallet. Knowing I'll be late, I turn and go back.

I was all ready half way to work and it's a 15 minute walk. So I let him in and say, "Yeah we're definitely going to be late now."

He and my other roommate say, "Yeah, oh well". They were taking their time so I just start walking back (no time to call a taxi considering the line outside waiting. I get to the ship and the OOD tells me I'm late.

I knew that. Then he names off my two roommates and says they just got there in time. How did they get there ? They had called a taxi and didn't tell me they had one on the way nor did they stop to pick me up. They had to pass by where I was walking to get to the ship.

Never, ever again will I do anything nice for either of them. I'm going to be a dick about everything that bothers me now, rather than being passive about it. They will take out trash, help clean, buy supplies, and quit drinking my soda.

I'm done being nice about it. It's my first real experience with roommates other than living in an apartment with my best friend for about a year. I've learned some serious lessons about people in the military.

I'm looking out for myself only now. Next time, I'll tell them to deal with it themselves.

Best/cheapest store to buy a decent mattress at? Any stores to avoid that are just overpriced? Friend is looking for a new mattress, but something around $300 for a queen.
