    Energy Suppression

I came across this video and found it pretty interesting. If you can make it through the entire thing it is basically talking about "Free Energy" being suppressed by the major players from gas, oil, coal, and electricity. Do you believe this could be potentially happening?

I just thought it was a interesting topic to discuss.

Is it really that hard to believe? I've read of these companies buying patents from inventors then later these inventions never seeing the light of day.

A buddy of mine who is a engineer was thinking of a energy producer from magnetics and this pretty much falls in that line which is why I found it interesting and forwarded it on to him.

          Yes, yes it is.

And your buddy the engineer needs a refund on his degree, magnets aren't free, they require (in some cases) massive amounts of energy to produce. Neodymium magnets are 3 metals melted together, cast into ingots, ground to powder, particle aligned by an electromagnet, melted together again into blocks, then magnetized by an electromagnet. The energy contained within a magnet like this is a very small fraction of the energy used to create it.

                      Re: Energy Suppression

I'm not going to waste half an hour of my time watching dated movies. I will tell you this: if there was a way to produce cheaper energy, it would already be in production as we speak. Generating electricity is not an easy task; it takes a whole lot of coal, natural gas, wind, solar, nuclear, what-have-you to generate electricity. It takes a whole lot of money just to get that energy to you in the form of transmission and distribution. Poles, crossarms, insulators, transformers, conductors... the poles you see out your window aren't free. If there was a way to get electric service to your location from a "cheap source," that was reliable and safe, then every energy company would have an incentive to do it.

By the way, anybody can get a patent. The problem is making what you just created into a working product. That's why my patent for a solar powered cow, while intriguing and green, is not going to see the light of day in the real world.

Nothing is too hard to believe anymore.

Money talks. It controls the world we live in.

                        That's all I will say.
