How long have you been reading Operations Sports and what brought you here?
Since sometime in 2000. I remember reading someone from here posting on an IGN board. So I came over here and haven't left since. I was a lurker for a good while. I think I first starting posted right before the release of NCAA Football 2002 in mid 2001. I was here for some of the old forums and I've seen the site grow to what it is now. This really is the best sports gaming message board I've ever been on.
What made you decide to donate to Operation Sports?
I enjoyed being here and was grateful for the existence of the site. It was just a matter of timing. Being on the "Dirty Dozen" list probably helped too. LOL. No seriously it was the right thing to do for me. I'm actually sorry it took me so long to donate. I'd like to thank everyone who has donated to this site to date. It's pretty cool to have a group of similar people working to help this website stay alive. The opinions and information here on the forums is second to none, as are the personalities.
Your favorite Sports Teams?
Wake Forest Demon Deacons in CBB, Navy in CFB, Carolina Panthers in the NFL, Charlotte Bobcats in the NBA, Baltimore Orioles and LA Dodgers in MLB, Anna Kournikova in Tennis (had to mention that), the Petty Family in Winston Cup Racing, Carolina Hurricanes in the NHL, and the old NWA/WCW and the new NWATNA in wrestling.
What are your hobbies?
Sports video gaming and watching sports obviously. I like heckling fsquid. I have a large collection of sports memorabilia, mainly cards and figures. I like to spend time at the coast and reading travel magazines. I like the comaraderie that XBL and other online voice play provides in online gaming. I also like making and helping others with rosters for sports games, and I usually enjoy working with the roster forum.
Tell us about about your family?
I don't know what to say here really. I come from humble hard working roots. My dad has worked hard his whole life, most of it at the same company, and my mom has worked long hours and still does most of her life. I have a brother one year younger than me and an older sister, along with a younger step sister. I'm very lucky to have the family I do. I'm in a much better situation than I deserve to be in.
