Nobody does money clips?

I dont have anything right now. I just carry my credit card, cash, and ID on me when I feel I will need it.

I find a wallet is just unnecessary for that and I would just be filling the rest of the wallet up just to use the space. Lol

So Ive been thinking about just getting a money clip.

I had a really cool "Warhol Dollar Sign" money clip that I got when I visited the museum in Pittsburgh MANY years ago...

When that finally broke, I started using one of those big butterfly paper clamp / paper clips and then ended up with a medium sized black binder clip...

It's cheap / utilitarian and "modern"...

I've gotten many compliments for "ingenuity" with regard to re-purposing, etc...

Secure hold and minimal width make this one a winner fo' me...

I have never used a long wallet, how does this work in your back pocket? I couldn't see you able to sit down without having to take it out everytime.

It doesn't really slide or anything so it really isn't a problem. Well, sometimes when your dropping a deuce it will slide out, but I usually don't keep mine on me too much at work so that's not too big of a problem. Also, if I'm going somewhere like New Orleans I'll stick it in my front pocket.

I used a money clip for a long time, but I lost it in a move from Colorado to California, so I got a Nike Golf wallet from the Marshalls close to here for about $15 and it's held up well for the last 2 years.

I would like to go back to a money clip though as wallets tend to give my back issues if I have to sit down for long periods of time (especially driving).

I do the wallet money clip combo.

Very simple single wallet that holds a couple cards and id's with a clip on the side for cash.

I have a tri-fold leather Fossil wallet that my mom bought me about 8 years ago. Still holding up but it's beginning it's downturn. Not yet ready to let it go though. Maybe another year or 2 and it'll be time.

I'm limited in that I "have" to use one that can carry my shield and my work I.D.(it's actually the I.D. that is more important and what anyone checking would look at...but...)
It's tough to find nice ones.

A friend of mine in P.D. got me one when I switched over to F.D..... 19 years and still going....it's a bit ragged...but I don't really carry it as much as transport it in my bag.

I just kind of stumbled upon this one and nabbed it for $12.50 shipped off ebay, new. It's only a year old, but it's worn well thus far.

Kenneth Cole bi-fold from either Marshalls or TJ Maxx, don't remember. I don't spend more the $20.

This is exactly why I'm considering a money clip. If I'm driving for any medium to long distance my wallet goes in my cupholder or console. Only bad part is that I usually remember I've left it in the car once I get to the register.

That' what I use too. It has 3 slots for cards, an inside pocket and the magnetic money clip on the back. I carry my license, debit card, 2 credit cards, AAA card, Sam's Club card, medical, dental, drug card, car insurance, and 3 or 4 reward cards. The inner pocket I put either my office access card (which is rather thick) during the week or extra cash when going out on the weekends so all of my cash isn't in the money clip part. Best part of all, it fits very comfortably in my front pocket so I don't have to sit on it.
