Re: Pursuing an NBA Radio Broadcasting Career
Nice work. I was fully expecting to listen to maybe a minute or so. You made me stay for the whole game.
You definitely have a future in radio PBP.Comment

Re: Pursuing an NBA Radio Broadcasting Career
Decided to listen on my way home from work today and whatever I say will just echo what everyone else says. I would say just keep honing your craft and keep networking, I can say pretty confidently you will eventually get a real nice offer somewhere.
I suppose if I wanted a career in PBP and was confident in my abilities I would put a NBA game on and stream myself calling it. Use Twitter and see if you can get anyone in the business to give it a listen. just a thoughtMy dog's butt smells like cookiesComment

Re: Pursuing an NBA Radio Broadcasting Career
Thanks JazzMan, I listened to a few Jazz broadcasts this season and the play-by-play man is very good. I picked up a few things from him.Radio Play-By-Play Broadcasts: http://www.youtube.com/user/AaeriosGames

That's a great idea! I usually call play-by-play while I watch games on TV but I never thought about the idea of streaming it. Thank you for the advice, it's much appreciated.Radio Play-By-Play Broadcasts: http://www.youtube.com/user/AaeriosGames

Re: Pursuing an NBA Radio Broadcasting Career
Be careful with trademark/licensing issues though. Not sure how the NBA would feel about someone live streaming their product.Comment
