Getting Kicked Off PSN Randomly. Can I Trace Who Is Booting Me Out Games?

Lately I've been getting disconnected from NBA 2K13 or Battlefield. At first I thought it was my internet but I came to a conclusion it is not. Is there a way to trace whoever is kicking me off in the middle of games..?

It's not my internet. I am 100% it is not..After getting kicked off I can sign in automatically. If it's my internet everything else is down and my internet is pretty good.

datcrunk has been laying low for a while, I wouldn't doubt he finally set Operation Gangsta into motion (he's obviously tweaked the plan over time), slowly take away online gaming from the OS community.

Seems to be the most logical scenario to me since you've ruled out your internet.

I'm not being singled out. There are a bunch of people who has been ip booted out in Madden and other games. Thanks to idiots on youtube teaching people and giving tips how to boot people out of games. My question is how to trace whoever is doing it.

your paranoid, no one is IP booting you off PSN. What you need to do is find the problem, it either lies with your internet connection, your local connection(router), or PSN. When I had Time Warner Cable I would run into this from time to time.

completly Unplug your moden, plug your modem straight to your Play Station, plug your modem back in, Get on your Play Station. If it works then your Router is at fault, If it doesnt then either PSN or your Internet is at fault.

Pretty easy.

I don't think it's my internet. I think I am getting IP booted. When my son is on the computer or netflix and I get booted off the same time he never gets disconnected..I want to know if is there a way to track someone IP booting me..

Two questions?

1. Does your PS3 connect via a wireless router?
2. Does the computer connect through a hard connection (line plugged directly into it)?

If you answered yes to both of these, then it could be the wireless router.

Additionally, do you play any other games online where this is happening? Does it happen when you are playing with friends, randoms, or both? Do you get any type of message or error code when you get disconnected? Does it seem to happen most often at a particular time of day?

No I don't play wireless on PS3. Straight ethernet to the router..
