As anyone ever used a service that parked or saved their cell phone number so nobody could touch it? Did it work well? Would love to disconnect for the next year or two and then get my number again eventually.

Ever "parked" your cell phone number?
I'm trying to trim expenses as we save for our first home. I get a work IPhone so I don't really need mine anymore -- but I really REALLY want to keep my number. I grew up in Eastern WA (now live in Western WA) and while it may sound dumb, my area code is the only tie to Eastern WA I have left. I really miss the area and would love to keep my old number.

Number Garage and Park My Cell Phone were the two that I was looking at.
Long shot that anyone has done this, I know -- but everything I've read are reviews from multiple years ago. They seem legit but I'm not 100% sure.Comment
