Anyone with experience/stories from the dental hygienist field?

Been looking for a Monday-Friday job for my wife recently, and she's pretty interested in becoming a dental assistant.

Just putting this out there to maybe get some inside stories/advice from anyone (or their significant other, sibling, parent, etc) in that field.

Seems like a pretty in-demand industry that won't be going away. The education options are pretty nice too and it looks like many with that degree/certification are employed in the field.

She's really excited about it, and my Mom (passed away when I was young) was a dental assistant for a time so I thought that was a cool connection.

    Thanks guys.

The only thing that comes to mind when I hear "Dental Assistant" is the guy in Horrible Bosses who was Jennifer Aniston's assistant, and had to put up with a lot of workplace "harrasment."

Lol sorry wish I could help more.
