I'll go first. I tried the Green Pan. The non stick super pan. Yeah this thing was pretty bad. It worked great about 5 times but that was it. Now everything sticks to it and that's 20 dollars wasted.

As seen on TV
We've seen these commercials for years. I'm talking of course about those "As Seen on TV" products. I can't be the only one to try some of these and were less than thrilled with the results. So post your results with them.

Re: As seen on TV
My dad bought some "memory foam" pads for between your knees for side sleepers. It had to of been 50 cents worth of foam with a groove down the middle for your legs. Wasn't even curved. Who lays on their side with their legs straight?
I can't imagine there are many good products out there.Comment

My wife had to have the GT Xpress 101 and even took them up on the second one for free. The second one was gifted and ours was used for a week and now sits in a cabinet untouched ever since.Comment

I got the nuwave oven. Must say it's the best purchase I have made. Cooks things great and I use it a lot. Hotdogs, hamburgers, steaks, whole turkey's, etc.PS4 Twitch: http://www.twitch.tv/candyman5os

Nuwave is great, have had many greats meals from that.
Before you buy anything from a infomercial, check out the reviews on Amazon. The Greenpan has a dreadful rating there.

Re: As seen on TV
I have The Gopher...was given to me as a gag gift, but I use it in the yard to pick up trash and whatever else blows into our yard (corner lot). It works pretty well, but it wants to fold sometimes because it won't stay locked and that gets a bit annoying.
I also have Mighty Putty (another gag gift) but can't report on it effectiveness because I haven't really found a situation to use it.XBL & PSN: zasbury25Comment

Re: As seen on TV
We had an As-seen-on-TV store on the coast we used to love going to when we visited. It moved though so that sucked but here are a few things we bought from there that work really well.
This little squeezer works amazingly. No more paste-waste! lol
This was a gag for my wife, I actually got her a SF giants WS ring and put it in the box. When she opened she found the ring but then asked, "where are the bowls"? lol
We tried them and they work perfectly. Non fried crispy tortilla bowls for taco salads. Even my kids are loving taco salads now. (Sounds like the commercial, corny) No need to spray, wash, anything. Place the tortilla in the bowl, bake low until crispy, the shell pops right out, wipe out, put away.
This is great too. No plugs sticking straight out, getting hit, bumped, whatever.Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon. I might get me one of those toothpaste devices. I hate it when people throw out a tube of toothpaste as soon as you have to put in an ounce of effort to squeeze the rest too the top. Someone who was using mine threw it in the bathroom trash so I took it back out. Used that thing for 2 more weeks (brush 2-3 times a day) with generous application.Comment

Re: As seen on TV
It's funny having commercials where they advertise a product, and act like without that product, doing something is almost impossible(a vacuum commercial for example, they act as if every single vacuum prior to the one advertising, picks up like a third of the actual stuff on the floor). Even funnier when it's the exact same types of things for so many years. A commercial from 2004 acts like it does 100% of what you want it to do,and the previous model did less than half. Now in 2014, it's the same message/advertisements lol.
Back on topic though, I got one of those expandable hoses they always advertise on TV, and it works great and all and is so much better than a regular hose. Only issue is how easy it is to get damaged, even though they advertise it being so durable and stuff, if the outer layer rips, or one of the hoses inside gets slightly damaged,it's not like a regular hose where you can just patch it up, the whole thing is ruined. I returned it to the store and they even said they got lots of people saying same thing about those hoses. It seems like one of those things that could either last you a very long time,or will get damaged within a year or so.Comment

Re: As seen on TV
I really like those, however I've had two of them burst on me. I like them so much that I bought another one though. I don't think I can go back to a regular garden hose after having one.My 2K17 Boston Celtics MyLeague
