Re: What is your greatest fears?
My big three...
Losing a close family member.
Financial instability.
Not being the husband/father that my family deserves.
Lesser fears...
Depth of water (I grew up working charter boats, but never could kick it).
Spiders, notably spiders I can't see.
Heights, but only with someone beside/behind me. Maybe it's a trust issue. Not sure.
Not trying to be arrogant, but while I am afraid of death, it's the death of those around me that I'm fearful of. Not my own. I've had a couple of close encounters; sure, I don't want to die, but I'm confident of my destination after the fact. My fear and issue is dealing with the death of those I love. Never can prepare fully for that.Comment

Re: What is your greatest fears?
This right here.
Also, bears, bees, death, getting old, and people. The people portion is directly related to the debilitating phobias/disorders. It's brutal.
The ironic ones are death & getting old. I don't want to become the barely mobile old person at the store that gets in everyone's way, but at the same time I don't really wanna die either so it's a tricky one.

Re: What is your greatest fears?
Getting stabbed. I rather get shot than get stabbed.
Typhoons
Lately it's ocean related.
I go diving and would hate to see a great white or one those killer jelly fish. Thoughts of drowning come in too but I do my best to be always calm and know what to do if my equipment fails.
But man when I'm snorkeling or just swimming in the ocean, I freak out when I see regular jelly fish. I swim back in asap if I see more than a couple. Also getting caught in a current. I got caught a couple times but I was able to grab on to something and not get swept in. I have to experience one sweep me and let me bring me where ever for me to get over it.
Yet with all these fears I still go in and get better at all the activities.

Re: What is your greatest fears?
1. Not being able to support my self and becoming home less. I am 25 and still at home and having trouble finding a new job and it is so frustrating and I cant really afforded to support my self and I fell like its never going to change.
2. Being alone forever. 25 and I have never had a gf or even went on a date or even really hang out with a girl. I have a hard time with people only have a few friends and social anxiety sucks. I just have a hard time seeing my self with someone because I just have such a hard time trying to talk to people and I am a big big time sports nut and I think it would drive most woman crazy.
3. Heights have gotten a lot better but still don't like it.
4. Sharks I know the changes of getting attacked by a shark are really low but I am still affair to go into the ocean.
5. Spider and bugs they are just creepy.Comment

Re: What is your greatest fears?
I've had kidney stones 3 times over the past 20 years and the pain is supposed to be on a par with giving birth.
Your number two is by far my worst fear and it is going to happen eventually.Comment

Re: What is your greatest fears?
I'm not afraid of heights in the sense that I get scared when I'm up high. What scares me is the feeling of falling, so roller coasters tend to freak me out. But at the same time, I can stand in that glass booth in the Willis Tower in chicago where it looks like you're standing on air and I'll be fine.
Beyond that, I'm petrified of dying early specifically from a disease.
Also scared of Alzheimer's/dementia.NFL: Bills
