    Interview with shortsoldier

How long have you been reading Operations Sports and what brought you here?

I started reading in June of 2003. I must have followed a link somewhere about NCAA, but I never left the site. It's now my most visited site.

What made you decide to donate to Operation Sports?

I was coming to this site everytime something sports related happened, everytime something funny happened, everytime something raised a question in my mind, . . . in other words, this became my one and only site and I was enjoying all the perks for free. Knowing that it was not a for-profit website, I figured it was about time I "gave back to the community."

    Your favorite Sports Teams?

I am a fan of college football in general, but specifically Oklahoma and Oklahoma State (OU slightly ahead). Yes, I like both of them. My parents went to school in Florida and have no ties to Oklahoma schools, so I am free to like both of them. In the NFL, I am kind of a Dallas Cowboys fan. In all reality though, I just have a huge man-crush on Bill Parcells.

    What are your hobbies?

I play NCAA, Check out OS, play with my beagle ("Battle"), and make fun of my friends. (Damn, I need more hobbies!)

Tell us about about your family?

I do not have a wife or anything. I come from a WASP family of four. My dad is a 5'6" redhead, as is my little brother, and my mom is a 5'2" brunette woman. As a result, I am 5'5 1/4" and have half brown/half red hair; seriously. My beard is fire red and the longer my hair gets on my head, the redder it gets. Otherwise, it looks light brown. I have the hair of a mutt at the pound, minus the fleas and mange.

You can't be "Kind of" a Cowboys fan. You ARE one.

I've had three beagles in my lifetime: Buddy, Bella, and Battle (something about 'B' names for beagles I like). They are the greatest.
