    Interview with Ochoco

How long have you been reading Operations Sports and what brought you here?

Started reading the forums just after NCAA '04 came out. I found my way here via Google...

I use a laptop for work and it’s also my main at home now that everything is wireless. Any time I reboot the first thing I open up is OS. It’s like a ritual or something.

What made you decide to donate to Operation Sports?

I was planning on Donating just after a few days of reading the forums because the overwhelming amount of information I was finding.

What sealed the deal was an argument with Clay about the Oregon/Michigan game last year (he was being his normal charming self!) and I figured if I hurried up and donated I would be a lot less likely to get booted from the site!

    Your favorite Sports Teams?

College Football - Oregon Ducks is my team Florida State is second but I will root for any Pac-10 team over any other conference team unless they are playing Florida State.

Least favorite College Team(s) - Ohio State and the Buckeyes….

Pro Football - San Francisco 49er's - been a fan since age 4 or 5. I was taken to a practice of theirs in Rocklin CA when I was 5ish. They were a great bunch of guys and even gave me a hat.(my dog chewed up the hat shortly there after, it's too bad cause I really liked that dog)

Least favorite Pro Football Team(s) - Rams and Cowboys. (why did Steven Jackson have to go to the Rams......)

I watch some Basketball/Hockey/NASCAR. Root for whatever is local in Basketball, usually either the Trail Blazers or the Kings. Barely any Baseball. Nothing really does it for me like Football. So I really don’t have any specific teams for the other sports.

    What are your hobbies?

My main hobby would have Video Games. I use to play a lot more computer based games but since sports games on the X-Box have gotten to the level they are at now that’s about all I play.

I do a lot of running/hiking/walking. I go hunting with my father most seasons and love to go fishing. Favorite fishing is Sturgeon. Just kick back on the boat and relax the day away. We hunt for Deer/Elk mainly, sometimes Antelope/Bear. We mainly Archery hunt now as you get to see a lot more wildlife and it just seems to be more challenging.

Love to take drives in my Jeep Rubicon with top down. Can’t stand the heat so night time drives are much more to my liking. Use to spend a lot of time on my 750 GSXR until an 84 year old man decided to do an illegal U-Turn in front of me and put me out of commission for about a year. Now my wife won’t let me get another bike…

    Tell us about your family?

I am 31 years old and have been happily married for 6 years this July. We have been together for 11 years total. My wife will be 29 this September. We have two dogs, two cats and some fish…I’m not a huge cat fan but my wife is. I love my dogs, they are like our kids. “Real” kids are still in our future but for now we are happy with our current arrangements.

My wife is originally from Tucson, AZ and I am from Salem, OR. We now inhabit Vacaville, CA.(in between Sacramento and San Francisco) Moved to California for work and have been here right on 3 years. I work for Contra Costa County as a Network Analyst and drive to Martinez, CA (near San Francisco) ever day for work. My wife is a manager of a Bath and Body Works store in Vacaville.

It's always nice to learn more about fellow OSers. Nice interview.

Sorry to hear your bike was stolen. Those kinda people deserve to have their nutz put in a vice and have it tightened a half a turn every hour until they are "fixed".

I loved my bike, it was a blast. I used it to commute to work. About 40 miles one way but on some pretty packed freeways. I hate old people now...for real. Here is a before picture of my old bike....

Here is an after picture, at the scene of the accident:

It is very difficult to drive to work every day seeing all the bikes on the road. I want another bike sooooooooooo bad. But I want to stay married even more so for now....no bike for me.
