So I cover four different high schools for sports (five if I don't ignore the extremely small school) and I just realized that the fifth school in their division's football team is coached by a former Cincinnati Bengals pro bowler. Wonder how he ended up here?

I've never been a fan of the mayo pasta salad - ranch or Italian or go home.

Now, potato salad is an entirely different story.

I've never tried ranch pasta salad. Always Italian (or a light Caesar dressing).

Potato salad needs mayo, though. Not too much. Not too little.

I've never tried ranch pasta salad. Always Italian (or a light Caesar dressing).

Potato salad needs mayo, though. Not too much. Not too little.

My girlfriend is in marching band at our college and for the last like two weeks they've been training. 8am to 9pm practices every day. No days off. Just a lunch and dinner hour each day. It's really hot here lately and 3 people have collapsed from the heat over the course of these 2 weeks. Each time it happens the instructor blames the person who collapsed for not drinking enough water and they continue.

This is, like, supremely ****ed up, right?

Yes it is. Haven't some states changed rules for high football with their 2 a days and stuff because of stuff like this. Someone should go complain to the Dean or something, IMO, when you have people's health at risk then something should be done about it. Like limit the hours that they can practice like NCAA athletes have or say they can't be outside when it's over Y degrees. My college had something like that for their spring sports. Where if it was below 28 degrees or something they couldn't practice outside.

When I was in high school band we did 2 a days during the summer. Didn't matter if it was 100+ out or not. Part of the reason why it counted as our PE credit.
