Starbucks having red cups for Holidays,has started some big unnecessary controversy. People getting overly mad cause of no Christmas mentioning or anything. It's just a plain red cup(with green starbucks logo) and that's it.

This "PC Society" is stupid. It reminds me of the South Park episode back in their first season,when they were making fun of people getting so worked up over mentionings of Christmas. Putting on a holiday play,without santa,frosty,rudolph,christmas,christmas lights, or anything like that, cause people got offended by anything that even referenced Christmas in any way.

I even remember back in school, Christmas concerts, decorations all over and so on. Apparently people aren't allowed doing that as much anymore in schools? No longer a "christmas break" it's now a "winter break". No "christmas concert" it's now a "holiday concert" and things like that. Even stores can't be like "Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year". It has to be "Happy Holidays".

I worked at a Target for two years and nobody ever told me not to mention Christmas, for whatever that's worth.

Generally I feel like the outrage over the so-called war on Christmas is just as insufferable as the actual war, for lack of a better word.

It will always be Merry Christmas to me...I make it a point to say before I leave every cash register.

It will always be Merry Christmas to me...I make it a point to say before I leave every cash register.

I always say it but don't get irritated if some stores/people don't ...but it does affect shopping places for me.

No the one person who has to post pot shots and turn it into a more personal discussion.
I am fine with either side but saying things like:

"bunch of fake asses looking for something to act offended by" and "I say Seasons Greetings or some other PC saying literally just to piss them off for my pleasure. Works every time with them"

Has zero to do with agreeing or not agreeing (And that is pretty evident) as again I believe you have right to be on whatever side or use whatever greeting you want.
Doesn't need to turn into a attack/agenda thread is what I'm saying.

Outside of usa, all others who celebrate Christmas, dont have any other holiday until then

I feel exactly the same way.

Personally, I don't get offended by the "Happy Holidays" stuff...I have my opinion and they have theirs. But there are things a retailer can do that will preclude me from shopping there.
