Watson would have to correct me if it's not what he meant but I think of booksacks as more of a briefcase with one strap carrying the weight versus a backpack.

I've never referred to it as a booksack but I've had several briefcases that have broken when I carried too much weight in the bag.

Despite the fact I've had a number of backpacks throughout the year, none have ever really broke. Inside might get ripped or something,but I usually kept mine in good condition.

Though the part to hate about getting a new bag, the zippers/compartments might be diff. Use to putting specific things in specific areas in the bag, and once you get a new one, things are in diff locations and you have to put all your stuff in new places within your bag/forget half the time where certain things are.

I've probably had at most 3 bookbags since I started high school and possibly only 2. I've had my current one since my 2nd year of college and it has lasted through the rest of college and graduate school. Those last 2-3 have all been JanSport which along with EastPack seem to be popular brands. I do remember going through 3 bookbags back in 3rd grade after they kept breaking.

Pretty sure backpacks and booksacks are different things.

Might be some differences depending on context, but I've always used "bookbag" and "backpack" more or less interchangeably.

Armenians would definitely try and love the salty watermelon Pepsi. I don't like it (or rather, I don't see the point because it doesn't do what they claim) but we eat cheese with our watermelon all the time.

What do they claim it does? And watermelon and cheese seems like a really weird combination.

Interesting, I had also assumed that by "booksack" he was referring to a bookbag/backpack. I'd probably just call what you described a bookbag too though.

Having a booksack break in the middle of a semester is so heartbreaking. Those are one of those things that you underestimate how much they actually cost

I like salt on my watermelon. I've never had cheese with watermelon. I'm a big fan of apples with cheese though.

After being an assistant manager for the past year, I was informed by my District Manager that I'm up for consideration for my own store.

$400 a week pay raise in salary and instead of getting 20% of the store manager's bonus like I currently get, I get all the monthly bonus.

I'm kinda stoked for the money, as long as they don't put me in some crappy store (probably my luck).

I paid $20 for a bookbag, it was Wolf Creek, lasted 15 years. I used it through out high school and college, then gave it to my brother who used it an additional 7 years. You guys are just really rough on bookbags.

I heard this question discussed on the radio all week long, so I decided to bring to OS.

Scenario:

Girlfriend and boyfriend. His tax refund is $1,200. Her tax refund is $5,500 because of child credit. None of the kids are his. Should she share the money with him and pool both tax refunds together or should she just keep all of her's to herself and spend it as she sees fit ?

Me personally my train of thought is that if you 2 are living together, pool it together as common house money and use it for things for the house. If you 2 don't live together then keep the money to yourself.
