Man, **** my roommate. When we talked to the office about renewing our lease, he and I agreed on a 12 month lease. When I went to sign it yesterday, I'm informed I'm signing a 6 month lease, which has a $50/month short term fee. So not only are we not paying less like we should have, but now whatever I save up for my ****ing Chicago trip is now going towards a new ****ing apartment.

So allow me to share my embarrassment of a night last night...
This past week a few girls from work made plans for Friday night. They ask me to come with. Cool, I'm in. One of the girls tells me she's gonna try to hook me and her friend up. She tells me "She's really pretty" but in the tone girls use to try and disguise that their friend actually isn't. She also tells me she has a kid. I hesitate at this point because the girl trying to sell me is pretty cool, but she's overweight, so I'm kind of expecting Buh Buh Ray Dudley to be tagging in D-von. She shows me some pictures later on and it turns out the girl actually is good looking. This is good.
Anyways, Friday night rolls around. I take two buses down to the spot to pre-game with everyone before the bar. I get there first, and right after, the girl I'm trying to be set up with arrives. Lets just say I underestimated the pictures a little because she looked even better in person. So at this point a little bit of nerves and self-consciousness hits. ****. I think to myself, "I'll just drink those problems away", because clearly that's the logical solution here.
One of the girls shows up a few minutes later and brings her boyfriend along. He used to work with us and he has the IDGAF mindset to the max, so now some shenanigans are pretty sure to go down. The group of us start playing drinking games and he says to me, "we're getting white girl wasted tonight!". The first mistake was probably showing up. The second mistake was agreeing with that statement.
The drinks keep flowing and I keep getting ****ed at whatever dumb card game we were playing in which I paid no attention to the rules being explained. I'm kind of okay with this though because this was a poor pregame setup that was struggling to even get the music going and baby momma is more focused on her phone than what's going on.
Eventually the boyfriend reaches the silent holy **** I'm drunk stage and wanders off to the bathroom, presumably to advance to the silent I'm puking all up in your toilet stage. The girlfriend ends up in there with him for a little while and they end up leaving early. Not long after this I'm sitting on a bed waiting for the remaining 3 girls to get ready when I suddenly reach the silent holy **** I'm drunk stage. I go to the bathroom as a precaution. Nothing happens. Okay, I'm pretty drunk but I'm good to go. I walk in to the living room and sit down on the couch. The 3 girls are off to the left sitting at the table talking. A few minutes later, my body decides to tell me, "you're 30 feet away from the bathroom, you should puke now". So it happens. All up on myself. Just when I think no one caught it and I can make a quiet escape, sure enough, one of them did. "Dude, are you okay?", she asks me. I tell her, "I'm good" (besides the fact I just puked on myself like I'm ****ing 2 years old), and walk off to the bathroom.
To cut this short, they call a cab for me, I throw up some more in the cab, the cabbie tries to give me **** but I tell him to **** off and keep driving, and I make it home just to throw up a little bit more, this time actually in the toilet. I think I might have seen my pride going down in there too when I flushed.
tl;dr - Girl from work was going to set me up with attractive friend, I got too drunk and threw up on myself before midnight. You can crown me lightweight champion of the world.
