There's something I admire about the fact that any time food comes up in this thread either you or WAAW basically say "it's food. Eat it."Originally posted by BlueNGoldI feel weird for liking a post about exposed penises.Comment

They're really easy to make and taste exactly the same. Love them.--

The second time we made them we added more cheese than the recipe called for and used every bit of the garlic/butter sauce. They were just as addicting as the restaurant's.

I'm running through the first season of Blacklist on Netflix... I'm so hooked that I'm going back and reading the Blacklist Season 1 thread up to date with each episode so that I can see what everyone was talking about as these episodes were going on because I can't help but want to talk about some of the mystery in the show as it goes on, but can't talk about it with anyone I know since they've all seen the entire show so far and would ruin it for me lol.NFL: Bills

Re: Off Topic 2015
So get this. Yesterday I put in both an application for school and an application for Costco. Sunday night I called in sick to work (coming off a 3 day weekend no less) to go see Borgeous. I'm thinking they'll give me ****. I get there last night and not only do I not catch any **** at all, my two managers tell me I'm esentially getting some kind of mini-promotion. They tell me I'm the "backroom quarterback" now. I half-jokingly say to them, "you know quarterbacks usually get paid the most, right? So I'm gonna need a raise." They basically tell me I will be (still need to confirm this tonight).
Anyways, the end of the night comes along, I've got the stock room looking real purdy and whatnot. The store manager comes in and says something along the lines of "It looks great back here. I hear you were a part of that. Really good job." I wanted to check him and tell him I was the reason for it, but bit my tongue instead, especially considering this was a first getting props from him. Not only that but my managers were talking quite a bit of **** about him earlier in the night right in front of me so this put him in a good mood and obviously in turn relieved them of a lot of stress. And not only was I getting praise from the three of them, I was getting showered with it from just about everyone else as well. It was the weirdest damn thing and honestly felt like I was in some kind of Walmart twilight zone.
The absolute best part though was when I was leaving, I went to go give the guy that works the morning shift in the back the key to the power equipment. In the 3 years I've been working there, this guy hasn't gone a single damn day without complaining. Today though, he straight out tells me pretty much the same thing the store manager told me, and also says, "I don't know if they appreciate it, but I really do." I was in shock at that point, like did that really just happen?
The timing of all of that was just uncanny to me. No one knew I started putting an exit plan into motion so it's not like they were trying to butter me up to keep me around. As far as I know it was completely coincidental and honestly one of the best days I've had there in terms of taking pride in my work and actually being appreciated for it -- overwhelmingly so.
Oh, and on top of all this, the first thing I seen when I got in at the beginning of the night was a posting for an overnight support manager. I can't believe it, but I actually am considering putting my name in for it. The timing to do that is damn near flawless from my end after a night like last night, so I feel like I'd just about be a shoo-in for it. Also, after putting in my school application, I'm not looking at starting there until next year's winter term (my own fault for being a lazy, procrastinating prick and not doing this sooner), so in the meantime I kind of feel like why not try to take this? It'll look good on me, I know I'm more than capable of doing it, and more money is never a bad thing, even if it still isn't really enough to live comfortably off of. I'm still debating it obviously, but the more I think about it, the more I think I might just go for it tonight. Goddamnit, Walmart.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches.
