Speaking of getting hurt doing something that shouldn't hurt you, I did something to my back a couple weeks ago getting off the couch. Just getting up injured me. Luckily one day of pain and an icy hot patch that night and I was almost 100% the next day, but that was a painful experience.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2015
So there was a small spot on the wall in the bathroom next to the shower that got moisture underneath it and was bubbling/falling off, so I thought I'd try to strip the paint, get all the gross **** out, and re-paint it. Good idea in theory, but the portion of the wall I did doesn't match the rest of the wall; it's a little lighter and sticks out like crazy. I know for sure I used the exact same paint that was used before, but it won't match up. It's only been about 12 hours since the last coat was put on, but I have no idea what to do. Freaking disaster lolComment

Re: Off Topic 2015
On my roadtrip I had in n out. I live in an area w five guys.
The burgers are a slight edge to 5G, but IO makes good ones.
The fries are definitely 5G, IO fries are terrible.
IO has milkshakes whereas 5G doesnt.
Pricewise IO blows 5G away.
My verdict is 5G is better, but i do like IO.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2015
Is it possible to "break" a digital game? I'm doing my third playthrough of Borderlands, trying to play it once with all 4 characters, but I'm at a point where my waypoint has disappeared, my weapons are switching without pressing the button, the action skill happens on it's own, grenades are thrown without pressing the button, etc.
My last mission involved an elevator to get to Baron Flynt. I did the mission, killed everyone, got my key, and the elevator won't lower back down, it doesn't even say "use" when I get near it. I jumped overboard to die and when I came back everything was still screwed up, I googled where I'm supposed to go next and the button to press for that next location is red. I even went back, used the elevator again, and the damn thing won't go back down.
I've restarted a couple times to no avail, man hopefully this is a game issue and not my PS3 dying, I'm way too poor for this ****Wolverines Wings Same Old Lions Tigers Pistons Erika ChristensenComment

Re: Off Topic 2015
I went to a good friend's wedding and most everything about it, down to my date, was a last minute thing that wasn't planned at all. And it was the best wedding I've ever gone to. Spoiler for those who want the deets.
SpoilerFriday night I went out to watch the US game with some people in the wedding, who let me ride with them and crash in their hotel (wedding was in the westbank of NOLA) free of charge which meant I got to drink (and by the way, open bar weddings in the summer are the only wedding I recognize) and on the way in I picked up a new plus one since my newly minted-ex couldn't/didn't want to make it, and honestly my new date was so much more fun. Still not completely "over" the ole girl but the new one wasn't embarrassed to do the line dances drunk. So obviously, the reception went great and after the groom's father decided to bring all the groom's close friends to their house for an after party, which was more "chill" than "party", but it was awesome nonetheless (also involved 100 proof rum which I though we were all shooting buuuuut). Went to bed around 3 with the help of the 5 Jack and Cokes, 5 Coors light and the aforementioned "shot", which is waaay different than my original plan of being in bed back at Watson by that time. Amazingly I woke up without a hangover and though I was initially bummed that we couldn't go to my favorite diner in NOLA, I tried a new brunch place and it was amazing.
It was really refreshing to me because I'm the guy that shows up everywhere 15 minutes early and sometimes lays out my clothes for the week on a Sunday night if I know my plans. It felt great to just go with the flow for a change.
By the way, the first dance at my wedding will be The Bunny Hop and if my fiance doesn't agree to that then she just isn't the one for me.Last edited by Watson; 07-13-2015, 04:19 PM.And may thy spirit live in us, Forever LSU

Re: Off Topic 2015
I havent been to taco bell in who knows how long. Ever since i started making their stuff at home, except i fill taco more than they do, i dont bother going there. saves time driving to get barely stuffed tacos. Make it at home however i want, and with more stuff in it/ it tastes better. Same goes with the fries. Its healthier too since its not deep fried.
I wanna try same thing for pizza, but i cant always get the boxed pizza to come out good in the oven. Though when it does,it tastes goodComment

Or do you mean you're learning how to cook Mexican food? I don't know who would want to learn how to cook Taco Bell at home.Oakland Athletics San Jose Sharks

Re: Off Topic 2015
They sell hamburger buns and ground beef too so you can make your own hamburgers. They sell stuff to make pizzas too. I wouldn't really consider heating up pizza from a box as making it yourself.
Cooking isn't hard at all if you can follow directions on a recipe. Most people are just lazy or short on time, hence fast food. It shouldn't be some big revelation that you can make the same food at home that you can buy at a fast food joint. It's basic.Oakland Athletics San Jose Sharks
