Only places I've been to are Popeyes and CFA. Those other ones sound mad good just off the name. Wish we had better options here.

I don't know how much I'd like southern living, but I envy the hell out of your fried chicken game. If I'm gonna go out to eat, I'm going all in, health and finances be damned.

And PPM knows what he's talking about. The more run down the place looks, the better it tastes.

Word has it Royal Farms, the gas station/convenience store, has the banger chicken... Fact or fiction?

Fact. Royal Farms fried chicken is damn good. It's their main selling point.

I have taken off Tuesday & Wednesday of Labor Day week...I am so ecstatic to finally get some extended time off. Laziness is seen as a bad thing which I think is unfortunate - I enjoy being lazy and doing nothing when I get an opportunity.

I had surgery on my leg Wednesday and man was it rough. More so being nauseated than the pain. I am a huge baby when it comes to nausea. After throwing up multiple times. I stopped pushing the morphine drip from 5:30 pm until about 2:40 am. They has my leg in a machine that was bending it up to 50 degrees and then straightened, but after about 12 hours of that, the pain was too much. I then uses the morphine drip a few more times before I was released Thursday.

First day or two at home was pretty bad, not so much the pain (which is surprisingly not bad at all) I haven't taken any pain medicine since I left hospital on Thursday, but the 18 Staples and the tightness makes me leg really sore. They want me to bend it throughout the day so it doesn't get stiff.

I should have my s taples removed on the 31st, but he said I probably wouldn't do any light weight baring until about the 8 week mark. Dr also wants me off 6-12 weeks of work.

I'm sure once i start doing physical therapy and low weight baring, i will graduate from a walker to a cane for a not, but all in all, I should eventually be normal.

I was pretty depressed (mostly at night for some reason) but today has been a really good day. I just have to remember that it's temporary and it'll all he done soon.

The worst damn part I've dealt with, is still sleeping on my back. I hate sleeping on my back, so I twist my body certain ways to kind of be in my side, but sometimes I wake up in backpain. I'm not getting much rest. 3 hours, wake up for a bit, a few hours, wake up etc...

It'll be back to normal soon though.

I hate sleeping on my back, but I'm weird and it dates back to being an ignorant kid and going to funerals and all the dead people are in the caskets on their backs. I literally feared as a kid that if I slept on my back I would die in my sleep. Even as a kid I had irrational fears

I guess this post belongs in the uncommon opinions thread.

There's seriously no way around it for me.. It's just not good. They do have good biscuits, but that's where I draw the line.

and I'm not a fast food *****.. I like most of it. The Japanese do all American fast foods better and even they can't fix Popeyes for me.

If you're blessed enough to have a Lee's Chicken in your state (doubt many do) then that's where it's at. KFC has been dead to me since they quit selling Honey BBQ wings several years ago.

As someone who lived above a funeral home when I was younger, I can't say this thought didn't occur to me at some point in my childhood.

I have to sleep on my back in the summer because it's so ****ing hot. I normally sleep on my side with a blanket but during summer it's no blanket, sleeping on my back, with the fan two feet away from me. I feel like a freakin' bear or something.

Sleeping on my back makes me snore though, or so I've heard from my family who walks outside my door in the mornings.
