In other news, apologies for the double post, but someone created the worst coaster on Rollercoaster Tycoon.
It's called Kairos The Slow, and it takes 210 real-time days to complete. That's around 3000 years in the game.

I could see how it could be annoying to people who don't celebrate Christmas to be bombarded with the music/decorations etc. Especially public places and stores and whatnot.
That said, it's not anybody's fault, perse. For the most part its about being joyful and celebrating friends and family and being in higher spirits this time of year. Nobody (ok, 99.99% of the time) is playing music to go out of their way to offend those who don't celebrate Christmas.
My take has been that those who celebrate holidays other than Christmas should celebrate their Holiday's more openly. I certainly wouldn't fault anyone for it. Or be offended if I went somewhere and there were decorations and music celebrating said holiday.
Unfortunately Christmas is as much advertisements and a media frenzy as it is anything else, which in and of itself detracts from the purpose. But im not sure how/why people get mad at other people for celebrating.

Christmas has moved so far past its original purpose (even after the Christians co-opted the paganism rituals) that its meaning is different for a lot of people who celebrate it. I have Atheist friends who give gifts, for example. For me its more about celebrating the year with friends and family and sharing our riches with those most important to us rather than being strictly religious or spiritual.
