Ugly side of a car dealership

Long story short, I got screwed on a lease I picked up a few weeks ago with an $1100 payment I ended up owing. The dealership lied to me about it and laughed it off despite my proof.

They also claim I couldn't hurt their rep with social media and the like. Let's see about that.

Log into Facebook to start sharing and connecting with your friends, family, and people you know.

If you feel so inclined, give them a 1 star review, you don't have to fill out the why, but you'll see my review there and my proof and explanation of the issue. Been a long few days dealing with this company who feels they are bigger than social media.

    Thanks

Contact the BBB, doesn't look like they are accredited, but you have proof and they will still try to help out.

The BBB is worthless. Don't waste your time.

Disagree, after banging my head against a wall with ATT customer service, a post to the BBB had me getting a call from someone above everybody that told me I was lying, told me I wasn't told what I was when I signed up, and gave me zero leeway into any solution. Five minutes on the phone they listened to what I was saying, took the fault for the misunderstanding, and gave me what I was owed.

The BBB has no legal power, but they are another place to be heard.

The BBB claims to have cleaned up its act since its bust by 20/20 three years ago...but can the organization ever really go clean?

All that has nothing to do with posting an issue with the BBB. The BBB has no teeth, and it's ratings mean exactly squat (unless it's a bad rating, then you can expect customer service to be lacking), but that doesn't change the fact that posting an issue to the BBB can't hurt and can get things moving towards resolution.

Yep, the usual help that they provide is to put you in contact with people higher up, just like your case. The company doesn't have to respond, but usually they will and people higher up see that you aren't going away and usually will try to resolve the issue.

You want results, write to your State Attorney General.

BBB, Facebook, and Twitter are all far more affective than writing to the Attorney General.

                          For complaints...yes.
But for possible fraudulent activity...the office of the AG is a good place to contact.

I couldn't help but notice since this thread on Wednesday the 1 stars outnumber the 5 stars for this company 21-9. Does the OS community having anything to do with that?
