Which reminds of Jeff Hornacek in Live 98 I think. My dad would always play as the Jazz and would abuse him. Karl Malone would have like 9 points and Hornacek would be going for 50.

There were also guys with huge bats that could bunt for home runs and 20 ft tall guys who could do the same.

Then there was Steve Rechtschaffner. All he had to do was make contact... https://youtu.be/2LH4RaCrrD0?t=21s

I think I'm the only person on earth to say this....but with Neal Anderson (Tecmo Super Bowl) I'd always rack up a 200-300 yard rushing game. I was outlawed from using the Bears in college. Oddly, I was always better with Anderson than Bo Jackson.

My brothers and I all picked our favorite teams because of TSB. I was the Bills (needed the extra firepower), my one brother was NY Giants, and my older brother was the Chicago Bears.

Needless to say, you weren't the only one who dominated with Neal Anderson. He was no Ottis... he was better.

Sidenote, they make t-shirts with the old TSB helmet art and abbreviations. Tempting...

              NFL - Buffalo Bills
              MLB - Cincinnati Reds

D.C. had majority side-arm pitchers with presidential names right? They were tough to hit.

They had a few sidearmers and if I recall the whole team was named after presidents (hence the D.C. name).

Wasn't there a Ken Griffey JR game with a team named entirely named after ancient movie starlets? I wanna say Brigitte Bardot hit cleanup but I could be way off

What system was Slugfest for? I'm thinking of an old SNES game, I think it was just Ken Griffey Jr Baseball

I still play this game. W. Jack (Joe Carter) for the Toronto Blue Jays is money for me. I always have about 40 Homers and 100+ RBI's by the All-Star break.
