Agenda/Planner questions

I'm on the market for a good planner for 2016. Anyone have any suggestions? Last year I had one I picked up from Target that had daily journal type entries for each month with couple of lines to write task/notes/etc. This year I have been running into difficulties finding a planner of this sort. I've been running into the kind with each day broken down by hour instead of the journal style. I'm thinking it maybe time for a change or I may need to order one online instead of trying to pick one up in store so a couple of questions.

1. What format of planner do you use? Why do you prefer it?
2. What is a planner that you have found effective and helped with tracking and accomplishing goals?

One that I have found online is the Tools4Wisdom planner which seems to be really good at goal tracking. Anything comparable?

People still use hardcopy planners?? I have used project planner on my Ipad for the last couple of years and would never even think of going back to a paperback planner.

Yep, I'm the type that has to write things down for them to stick.

There is a case you get that the inserts slip into. I like it because I am always on the run and can quickly write things down. The pocket case has compartments where I can put my business cards, receipts etc. It fits right in your back pocket.
