So true. We don't even have a Popeyes conveniently located to us. In fact I think they only have 5 or 6 locations in all of Rhode Island. Same goes for Qdoba who have a whopping 1 location in the whole state. Which is why if I'm going to go out of the way for fast and cheap fried chicken or tacos, it's off to a hole in the wall mom and pops spot in Providence.

You can however buy Dunkin' Donuts on any street corner in all of New England.

Struggle is equally real where I live as well. Closest Chipotle is about 40 minutes, and you don't start seeing any Chick-fil-A (or Wawa for that matter) until you go closer to Philly, which is like 2 hours and change. It's strictly McD's/Wendy's/BK/Arby's/Taco Bell around here.

I can't turn my back on Chick-fil-A/disgrace my digestive system and eat KFC. Just can't do it.

Off Topic 2016: Qdoba > Chipotle

Chick-Fil-A not being open on Sundays is completely infuriating. The irony of this is that I want Chick-Fil-A the most when I get out of church. There is literally no time of the week in which I want CFA more.

In other news, I had Raisin' Cain's for the first time ever last week. It was absolutely fantastic. As a so-called "Northern OSer" being in the south for an extended period of time for the first time ever, I will attest that it does not disappoint.

Y'all dudes had me wanting a chicken biscuit with some chocolate milk this morning, so I went to the only thing we have on base that serves chicken biscuits... McDonalds.

So I know all ya'll are about torching down houses every time you see a spider, but I try and do my best to set them free. I'm still a chicken around it though, so I have to trap it with some sort of cup, get something underneath it, and carry it outside to my front porch.

So tonight I hop in the shower, immediately see a spider above me on the ceiling so I hop back out, watch it wiggle its way down on a web to the floor outside of my shower, grab a cup and trap it, then go back into the shower. Several minutes later I come back out, and right next to the cup I see the spider hanging outside of it. Total prestige moment! So I slowly reach for the cup again, lift it up to place it on the spider...

... then suddenly a spider falls out from the cup! Turns out that spider truly never did leave the cup, and its double was outside of the cup acting as a decoy. They pretty much looked identical: semi-long-legged, little yellow stripes on them, same size and all.

I had a quick opportunity when they both kind of raced toward one another, and I descended the cup upon both of them at the same time. I was able to slip a clipboard underneath the cup, and within a minute I got to the front door and tried to lure them out of the cup outside. It took a few second, and then finally a spider began limping out of the cup. I started tapping the cup on the ground to get the other spider out, but it wasn't coming out. I checked inside the cup, and it was gone!

When I went back inside, I looked under a light and inside the cup I saw a couple of webs shot across the cup like a diameter, and hanging on a web next to the side of the cup I saw a full detached leg.

The only conclusion that I drew out of this, outside of hallucinating a second spider and/or somehow dropping a spider from point A to point B, was that these spiders attacked each other under the cup, and one of them came out on top, tearing the other limb to limb, and I guess eating it alive! I really can't think of any other explanation in this scenario.

Hey, if one spider kills another then that is survival of the fittest, I ain't gonna stop that from happening. I'm not going to kill it myself most often, but if that ended up being the other spider's time then I guess it was. My only question is... would spiders of the relatively same stature -- if not exact type -- fight, kill, and eat one another that immediately in a matter of seconds? I've never witnessed that kind of thing before. I would have imagined that this was a spider couple, but I guess they were just Batman and Bane duking it out underneath the cup.

Anyway, that was the highlight of my day. What was yours?

^ highlight of my day is my Comcast internet randomly deciding to take a **** like it does every so often throughout the year...

But, heading to the Dr. with my wife here in a few and even though its very early, God willing, I'll get a glimpse and kiddo #3 on the ultrasound. Totally unplanned and unexpected but exciting!

Yep. I think in my town of like 20K people we have 8 Dunks in town. Some within about a mile of each other.
