Turkey = Awesome (I eat a turkey sandwich for lunch nearly every day)
Ham = Good if it's not too fatty (though that can be remedied if cooked on a Foreman grill)

I'm just excited to be home for Christmas this year.
I've missed Christmas the past three years because I was either in Chicago or Japan. It's going to cost me about $1400 round trip with good seats, but it's a price I'm willing to pay to be home for my son's first Christmas.
As for PPM's deep fried turkey comment.. YES.
I had totally given up on turkey until about 6 years ago when my family moved on to #TeamDeepFried.Comment

I like turkey as a substitute, but the standard T-Day stuff doesn't really appeal to me, the plain flavor doesn't do it for me but with some nice seasoning it gets the job done in lieu of beef

Christmas shopping now is one thing, but apparently in multiple cities across the country they're having their Santa Claus parade this weekend. The big one in Toronto is next weekend, but surely theres a limit on how early is too early for parades....Im sure even mike would say this weekend is too early for that lolComment

Engagement ring shopping is turning out to be more difficult than I anticipated.
I really like some of the black diamond rings I've found, but I definitely can't afford the real deal.. those ****s are expensive. I hear stories of people paying several thousand for rings.. I just can't do it. There are a lot more important things we need and can do with that money.

This is the one I've had bookmarked for a few days. I'm sure my girl will be happy either way since she's been hinting hard the past few months.
I just don't know if black diamonds are "in" for women in regards to every day wear. It's hard to solicit feedback without looking suspicious.

I'm going to a transitional class to learn more about benefits and the GI bill in January. If everything continues to make sense, I'll cancel my c-way and stay here until October when my contract is up.
