The original set is 1000 times better than any of the other sets.

I can go up to the 251 set from gold and silver. Every pokemon after that is trash though.

What age were people here when Pokemon/Digimon first came out in North America? From what I saw, basically anyone under the age of 10 when it first came out(1998 for the Pokemon game and tv show in North America,99 for Digimon), knew about it and liked it.

I was 9 and 10 years old.

I don't even know what pokeman is.

I stand with this. I can't name the ones from Silver/Gold but I'm okay with them. After that it just got to be too much. I had Sapphire, it's actually why I got a GBA, but I never ended up playing it much. That's when I realized portable gaming just wasn't gonna cut it.

My bro was more the Red/Blue guy, I still remember him saving his pennies to get a Gameboy Pocket and Red version. We shared it, but I got Silver myself and he went Gold for the sequels.
