    I remember talking to you years ago (09ish maybe) about dating a girl from Hackleburg. It's a small world where time flies. Hackleburg used to be about an hour and 20 minutes or so drive up the interstate from where I used to live. I know that doesn't sound like much to the average person, but in that part of Alabama it's really close.. especially with I-22.

                I some how doubt it is as serious as they are portraying it. I mean, how many times has our government raised the debt ceiling, decided to go further into debt, etc. and just went with it. California is eternally in the red.
                It's all policial BS scare tactics to get people all riled up! I can't get into the heart of it here but let's just say the state has plenty of money, they just spend it about as maturely as a 14 year old girl with a credit card.

                    Playing in my first poker tournament in Cleveland this year (played several in Vegas last month) in a few minutes. This place still feels like home.

                            We started with 14k in chips and I have 58,500 at the first break. A little over 100 players registered today. Buy in was $150.

                                    Woo Hoo, my local city just approved a bill that will allow ride-sharing (uber) here Hopefully gone are the days of 40 dollar cab fares and a 2 hour wait for a ride just around 5 miles

                                        Uber is getting so much opposition in Toronto it isn't even funny. Already the major taxi companies held a one day protest/strike and saber rattled mightily to do the same at All-Star Weekend. Luckily, they realized how that would impact the way Toronto is viewed and backed down.

                                            I use Uber instead of renting a car when I'm on vacation. One of the best ideas of all time.

                                                Same for when I'm on business. Hate driving in cities and not being familiar with the roads, so it's perfect. I think it ends up being a bit more expensive if you take a lot of rides but when you factor in parking and peace of mind, it works out evenly if not better.

                                                I was shocked to see it's available where I live. There is a pretty big bar scene in the city so that's probably why. They don't go too much farther south from here, though. Probably has to do with proximity to Philly to the north too.

                                                    At the second break now. There are 25 players left and I have 69k which is right around the average size for remaining players. The official amount of entries was 122 players and it pays 15 places. First place is just a shade under $4,000.

                                                        Yeah, there was a big fuss about them (and Lyff) coming to Pittsburgh too. Cab companies protested and the PUC (Public Utilities Commission) threatened to fine and shut down their drivers until they finally reached an agreement.

                                                        I've never used either, but from what I hear they actually show up when people call them unlike cabs.
