That's what I've nailed it down to now. Moved the PS3 to a different location and it went black again. Just played my original XBOX off the same outlet and it worked like a charm.

Just got the wife's approval trade in the PS3/games towards a PS4 or XB1.

Quick, convince me which one to get... Go!

I switched from Xbox360 to PS4 and, subsequently, PS3. The PS3 exclusives attracted me primarily. Outside of Forza I wasn't interested in what MS was doing with the games or the console.

Requires friends. LOL. Nobody games any more. Everyone had an XBOX or PS, but this generation isn't the same story. I mainly play sports games offline anyway, but if a FPS is enjoyable online I've been known to get on then and again.

Went with a PS4. Got the COD Black Ops 3 bundle for $350. Was actually able to trade in the PS3/controllers/games for $100. GameStop rips you off but I was just trying to get it done. Tell me how they take LEGO Dimensions game but not the peripheral required to play it? The value of games is so random too. LOL at Madden 12 & 13 selling for .02 and .03 cents.

My main selling point was streaming Spotify in the background. Music runs my life. Currently jamming out and playing NHL 16, which is a total blast. Jumped right in and it feels good out of the box. Haven't touched COD yet but looking forward to it. Always loved the campaign mode but COD4 was the pinnacle IMO. It was emotional trading that one in.

Tell me how I couldn't find the power "button" on the PS4. Or disc drive. Tech is passing me by man.

I'm late on the Uber discussion, but it's definitely convenient as ****. If you're a drunk and primarily use Uber as your DD, keep in mind that certain holidays result in the rates getting jacked wayyy up. That's when you need to use Lyft. Same sevice, but I guess it's not as popular so you don't have quite the premium rates as you do with Uber on certain holidays like New Year's Eve.

I believe sexual assault has been a problem. And "fake" Uber drivers trying to abduct people is a thing. So probably only a matter of time until a serial killer pops up.

Collecting ANYTHING is a slippery slope. Shoes, technology, Star Wars toys, comics, sports memerobilia, you name it. It's so damn addicting. Toys R Us is my weakness. The damn Star Wars section is my crack. Don't even get me started on shoes or any thing Griffey Jr related. I damn near lose my poop when Griffey releases a new shoe.

I've always tried to get into collecting, but my ADD kicks in and I start forgetting what I am trying to collect more of and just lose interest.

I started collecting MLB bobbleheads a couple of years back. I don't try to get every single one but ones that reflect history, HOFs or some of my favorite players.

Unfortunately...since I'm a Braves fan, all of my favorite players are traded so some of collection is vain.
