Halloween 2016

Anyone dressing up? The team under my manager at work (15 of us) they want to go cheap and easy, so someone said Price is Right or Wheel of Fortune, LAME! i brought up if we are going game show route, at least go with something like Let's Make A Deal. That way people can go as easy or as extreme as they want with their costumes, who knows though.

Main reason I brought this up is - does anyone have have any thoughts of 2016 offensive costumes? Going to an adult party and I want to be something good.

Just got my 9 year old geared up. He wants to be Thor. He already had the helmet and hammer so I found the blond wig and the armored suit. Over the years we have collected Marvel and DC accessories for my son to dress up in. Lots of masks, shields, hammers, etc. I'm going to go out Trick-or Treating with him dressed as Wolverine. I'm already trying to grow the mutton chops. I have the wife beater shirt and jeans and leather jacket. Plus we already have the Wolverine claws we picked up from Target a few years back.

Nice. My son has changed his mind multiple times. So here we are, middle of October and no costume. Latest thing he said was a ghost, said he could use a sheet lol.

My toddler has like 4 different costumes, but luckily she found great deals on all of them....

I doubt its new but one of the best ideas I've seen so far is dressing up like a box of kleenex tissues that says 'Blow Me' on the front .

At most all I really do is just get some pumpkins and clean them out/roast pumpkin seeds from it. Buy those big boxes of candy, and give them out on Halloween(in selective order,meaning the ones in that box I like the least,I give out first, so if any are leftover at the end of the night,at least it'd be the ones I'd eat). I also buy a "cheap box", meaning the cheapest candy or chips I can find,usually at a hardware store,and give those out to those people who are 15+ and just wear a hoodie or something and a dollar store mask. If you're too old and/or couldn't care less about an actual costume, you deserve the garbage treats you get.

(Random note to anyone with kids, hopefully they're the respectful "trick of treaters". Meaning they're appreciative of whatever any house gives them, and says thank you afterwards. Cause the worst kind of kids are the ones who are just so greedy,want as much as possible,and don't cherish anything)

And also watch every one of:


Usually just watch 1 a day leading up to Halloween since there's close to 30 of them now,and it's only 20 minutes an episode.

Seriously though, my wife made me put in a ring doorbell this year which has a speaker in it. So I'll probably be using a scary voice when the kids ring the bell and then I'll pop open the door to reveal something like a Ned Flanders character.

Carving pumpkins and pumpkin seeds! I turn into a chef with the ideas on how to season them.

We have a party at my house being thrown by my roommates and my girl is singing at a Halloween event. I'm choosing to keep my mother company. She lives in a elderly home. No trick or treaters just good company plus pumpkin seeds, and maybe some whiskey for myself.
