Need help on a project for my son (I am not very handy)

So I am wanting to build this for my son, but I am not very handy and I am not quite sure where to start. I am assuming I would need to get some 8x8 pressure treated posts, dig the holes and set them and then go from there? It doesn't have to be exact and I can make changes what the pic shows, but something similar is what my goal is.

Any tips for a guy who isn’t very handy?

That looks rather simple to assemble but getting it level is going to be the biggest challenge. Should just need a post digger some cement and a drill to assemble. The only issue will be setting the posts so they are straight up and getting them to be the same height. You'll probably need an extra set of hands to help with that.

A handful of people have told me the same "this looks pretty simple" and I am like, you realize who you're talking to, right?

If I could find someone to do it, I almost rather pay, just because I don't trust myself to make it safe for him. Haha

I'd personally buy the materials and then hire someone to come over and put it together just to make sure it's level. It's probably a two day job. One to set the posts and another to do everything else. If you feel confident about setting the posts, a carepenter could come over and do everything else in about 2 hours.

I'm not handy either, or to say, with construction type stuff. i'd hit youtube first. i wouldn't have considered the "get it level" portion until it was to late.

my guess would be once you get your posts set, your solid.

maybe you can dig holes to appropriate depth (do you have to go below the frost line)? then level with gravel? cement them in place. my bet is that's the hard part.

seriously though don't take my advise.

I will not since I don't even know what a frost line is

That's a sweet little playground for a kid in a pretty tight spot.

My father in law is a carpenter. I'll have to show him this, he'd probably love to build it for his grandson.

Pay for travel and I'm sure he'll come to Texas and build it for you too! LOL
