I'm sure every generation says this when they grow up. Though I'll still say it too lol. What happened to Saturday morning cartoons? Nothing better "back in the day" then playing video games early in the morning and then watching Fox/ABC shows on Saturday morning. Nowadays, I'd never wanna get up as early as I did back then.

Yeah I'd get up Saturday mornings and watch cartoons up until Noon, eat lunch, and then go about my day.

Man I miss, Flintstones, Jetsons, Woody Woodpecker, Muppet Babies, Warner Bros, etc...

I get up for Saturday morning nature shows now, there's usually a block of some wildlife, sea rescue, or Jack Hanna stuff

Gonna show my age, but I still remember pogs being a thing for a couple weeks at my elementary school, before they were eventually banned. Was messed up seeing kids play for slammers and lose.

Yea they were banned from my middle school as well, if I recall it was because of the gambling angle of it but I was so young can't really remember.

My mom still has my pogs at their house.

Walgreen's use to have a giant display of random pogs.


The real fun was collecting the mini NFL, MLB and NHL helmets out of the quarter machines at the supermarket. Tons of quarters used when my parents got change at the checkout.

One year when I was in middle school there was a school (or maybe just my grade, don't really remember) fair and they were giving out pogs as prizes. I wasn't interested in the game, though I did keep a few that had football team helmets on them. My little sister was into them for a while though and would often ask me to pick some up for her when I went the sports card store with my cousins.

I remember having pogs and playing the game with my friends. I remember I had a bunch but it seems that fad didn't last very long or I just have a ****ty memory.
