    Interview with Rag3vsW0rld

How long have you been reading Operations Sports and what brought you here?

I've reading OS since January of 2003. I first came here looking for information on any baseball game (ASB in particular) and I remembered that my brother would go to this site. I would sign up a month later.

What made you decide to donate to Operation Sports?

Two reasons, sometimes you get tired of being harassed about donating. Sometimes you feel like you need to do something when you're a post whore.

    Your favorite Sports Teams?

My favorite sports teams are San Diego Padres, San Diego Chargers, those Vancouver Canucks, and the San Diego Gulls. I'm not a big fan of basketball.

    What are your hobbies?

I collect stuff like sports cards and cars. I play an instrument well (the piano) and not so well (the guitar). I also spend my free time on video games.

Tell us about about your family?

I have both parents and two siblings, a sister and a brother (who I mentioned earlier, he's the oldest child of the family), both of whom are in college. I am the youngest child of the family. I have two pets, an african cichlid named Nelson and a cat named Kibbles, who we did not name by the way.

I remember the days when I spent wads of cash to get a Frank Thomas rookie in a Leaf 90 pack or 89 Score Football packs to get me a Barry Sanders or Troy Aikman. Oh, the days...

I remember once my dad had a booth at a carnival and was giving away sports cards as prizes. Well since me and my friens were all into sports cards we went through and found a MJ card worth $100+. We knew we couldn't let it go so when the carnival came around we went and tried to win it. It was my dad's booth but another person we knew was running it.

We tried to convince her to let us look through the cards for our prize but she wouldn't let us. One of us went up to the booth after everyother person and we even tried to trade them are cards if we thought they might have it. We were probably around 10 or 11 at the time so we were getting pretty desperate.

Somehow it slipped our grasp. . I still have about 10,000 cards from back in the day. This counts my dad 60's and 70's cards and just random packs I got from people. Good times.

        ps. good interview

Every Vancouver Canucks fan gets the thumbs up from me!

I use to collect cards when I was younger. I sold a whole bunch of them for only $40 about a year and a half ago.

I probably still got over 10,000 cards.

I have a couple of old Jordan cards and a mid 80's Gretzky card. I would probably sell my whole collection of cards for $50 (of course I would still keep about 20 of my personal favs) because it's locked up in the closet taking up space.

I once posted congrats here, but then my computer froze while it was sending, and I felt tired and went to bed, and forgot to check and see if it ever went through.

                            But um... congrats.
