OS Identity Crisis Averted ( a poll)

what generation do you fine people in the Land of OS self-identify as?
you only get 5 choices and 'other' isnt one of them.

EDIT: you dont have to be born in the time frame I gave to be part of that generation, I just added it as a loose guideline.

I guess I am a millennial but I dont feel like a millennial, I have a good job and a nice house so I can't relate to all these articles telling me how bad I have it.

I agree. Technically I'm a millennial since I was born in 87 but I certainly don't have much in common with your typical millennial.

Generation X as I was born in '78.

This poll made me feel old.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I've seen the generational scale as having Millennials starting in 1977 and while I identify with the politics of change that this generation is trying to pull off I think i'm more of a Gen X-er but my worldview and perceptions skew a lot older. I think I can take a little of everything but i'll peg myself as a Gen X-er.

Yeah, go look at the wikipedia articles for those demographics and there's at least a 5 year overlap zone between each transition. I'm in the Gen X/Millennial overlap zone. (1981)

I wanna know if the person who voted "silent generation" is really at least 72 years old or if they just voting that way for the hell of it.

Neither have I but millennials used to be Gen Y but I guess it got changed at some point. iGen should be Gen Z. The last generation
