Lol, Hallmark channel makes like 20 new Christmas movies every single year. It's out of hand.

I miss ABC Family's 25 nights of Christmas movies marathon they always did.

I've always thought of it as Lifetime Lite. What I'm surprised at is more than 3 people on OS would admit to knowing how well they know Hallmarks Christmas habits.

Big non shocker. Working retail for Christmas season isn't as fun as I thought it'd be(at least so far). Although right now is the "calm before the storm" so I gotta be patient and be careful what I wish for.

Several thousand dollars in about 2 months for something that requires no real skills lol.

I will say this, Hallmark channel movies feature women in their 30s-40s who are actually strong and beautiful, and in the lead role. That's not particularly common in 2018 still. They deserve credit for that, even if the cringe is often strong.

And honestly, It's nice to watch a movie that isn't about drugs, violence or couples cheating on each other once in a while lol.

Hey man, I like Frasier and Cheers reruns. I see a lot (A LOT) of commercials for their movies between those shows.

Come on, man lol.

I've said this before but they have a specific vision for their brand and they execute it better than many others. I can't hate on that.

I dont even know what channel hallmark is on my tv so I really cant even speak intelligently about it. I sure didnt know they were airing cheers and frasier so I'll definitely have to look out for it. Reality tv kills me so classic sitcom repeats are right up my alley lol

I'm enticed by that flick. Looks good. I'm proctoring an SAT and tutoring tomorrow though, and the AMC theaters are a bit out of my way to go there for the evening.

Hallmark has like 3 channels now. The main one has those sitcoms. The other ones have either the original movies, or stuff like Murder She Baked, Garage Sale Mysteries, etc ... which is too horrible for even me to watch.

So I turned 40 over the weekend. It's weird because I've always heard people talk about mid-life crisis and all that stuff and really paid no attention to it. But over the weekend I found myself in thought multiple times about where I am in my life compared to where I thought I would be, and moreso wanted to be. I thought about accomplishments and failures. Overall I am happy with where I am. I have a good job, a house, land, family, good friends, and I'm not in debt to anyone, as everything I have is paid for.

But while I mention family, I'm divorced, twice, and have a son and step daughter that while I see on a regular basis, I don't live with them, so there are so many little moments that I miss out on. I also miss having someone to come home to, someone to share the battles of life with, someone to lean on, laugh with, cry with, and enjoy life with.

Outside of that, there is nothing that I covet. Just wish there was a way that she and I could reconcile.
