An American hero. Accomplished an unbelievable amount of success in his life. So many titles. A humble, decent, good man.

      Sad. Really sad news.

was hoping he'd live to see well past 95, because of plane jumps when he was 90, 85, 80, & 75.Also, this speaks to miracles of modern medicine, between Bush and Jimmy Carter both being in their 90s, I'm pretty sure we've never had 2 ex-presidents live into the 90s at the same time.
        R.I.P. Mr. President.

EDIT: I was wrong, Reagan and Ford were briefly in their 90s at the same time.

One of the most accomplished people of the 20th century and sadly one of the very last of his breed. He was a pragmatist and a realist who didn't have objections to compromise and fair dealing, something a lot of his successors in his political circles should learn from.

MLB-N did a really nice piece on his connection with the game of baseball as well. This goes to show that he was a well rounded individual in all facets.
