I've been reading since about 2002 I believe. I used to be at those wack forums at EA, but I went here to read reviews on Madden and NFL2k3. I got on the forums and it just seemed like a cosy place to talk sports. I honestly didn't think I'd stay here long, but I kept posting and it became my one stop shop for sports chatter. I've even seen this place change enough times since I've been here to appreciate that much more.
What made you decide to donate to Operation Sports?
I donated because I didn't want to feel like one of those unappreciative kids that expect previews and beta-impressions to come like Steve owes it to me. I just wanted to show how much I really enjoy being at OS by donating.
Your favorite Sports Teams?
The New York Giants are my number one favorite team ever since they had their little Super Bowl run in '00. That was the second year that I REALLY payed attention to the NFL. Other than the Giants, I'm a really big supporter of the Bobcats since they're in my home-state, one of only 2 pro-teams. I hope to eventually move to Charlotte when I get older to attend a lot more games.
Other than the Giants and the Bobcats, there are teams that I pull for just because I liked them when I was a little bit younger. I like Duke basketball in football just because in our region it feels like you have to pick between UNC, Duke and NC State. I have actually liked Duke since I was 7 or 8. Then I like the Knicks, Sixers, Phillies and Athletics. I'll pull for the Panthers if the Giants are out of the playoffs.
What are your hobbies?
I'm really into music and I am being encouraged to release my CD in March of '05. I like playing sports, running, and playing video games, of course.
Tell us about about your family?
I live with both of my parents (I'm 17 in February), I have a younger brother and sister who also live with us. My brother Josh is 12 and I honestly think he is the smartest kid I've ever met. My sister is 14 and she's into music as well, a fine clarinet and piano player. My dad is a Bears, Bulls and Cubs fan, nothing else real special to say about him. My mother was my teacher in 8th grade, and she's a Steelers fan.
