Here are some photos of my trip to Rocky Mountain National Park in Estes. The hiking is great there. I don't have any pictures of the Stanley Hotel. But you also might remember it from Dumb and Dumber. They have some haunted tours as well. It's really cool.20190608_185649.jpg20190608_171955.jpg20190608_120832.jpg

If you go to Manitou Springs/Colorado Springs and you are up for it, hike the incline! It is only .88 miles but it is all steps at a steep incline. It is quite the accomplishment!

Experience the Manitou Incline—an outdoor attraction in Manitou Springs. Plan your ascent with 2025 Manitou Incline reservation and elevation information.

I agree with October being probably the best month.

Just to show the unpredictability of Colorado weather, I didn't check what it was in Denver today but I would assume at least upper 60's but Estes Park got snow on the first day of summer.

Manitou Springs also has an amazing old school arcade setting. I think I have a picture of it from when I went a few years back.

It's actually where my parents went to on their honeymoon. They lived about an hour south of Colorado Springs and didn't have a ton of money but this is a beautiful small area.

Here’s the picture from the arcade in Manitou Springs.

The first time I went to Denver it was September and it was 90 degrees every day.
