It's not a company sending it. I'm guessing it's some sort of invitation judging from the envelope. Guess I could write "return to sender" on it next time. At least that way, the people sending it would know it wasn't delivered.

I meant if the mailman is delivering it over and over again, whatever company they work for, contact them and let them know.

But you could just do the return to sender stuff too.

Is it legal to deliver mail to a mailbox? I recently looked up if you could drop mail in someone’s box without postage, but apparently no because the postage is like a certification that the mail was cleared by the USPS. Yeah yeah yeah, sure, take my 56 cents. Lol

Too bad this isn't a rule that's enforced. It would reduce junk mail. The amount of real estate flyers I get on a weekly basis is ridiculous.

I had a similar incident a couple weeks ago. Only part of the address that matched was the apartment number though the correct street merges with my street. Just dumped it in the outgoing mail box in my building.

Even though it was on my Informed Delivery this morning, the letter didn’t show in my mailbox. Hopefully they figured out the correct address.

Unless...the mail that was supposed to go to someone else but ended up going to you, but got sent back, and was meant to go back to you now ended up somewhere else it wasn't supposed to be.

So now it's been double (or triple?) misdelivered


How long before someone on Twitter or reddit is like "I just got this thing in the mail. It appears as though it's been delivered to the wrong address a few times, but now it randomly shows up in my mailbox, which is also the wrong address". That sounds like some movie in the making. Multiple people brought together through a single piece of misdelivered mail.

I've been close to doing the same on occasion too, but for opposite reasons. I've had instances where I've seen strangers coming to my mailbox to drop off what turned out to be mail sent to their house. Some of it was just junk, other times it was serious things like electric bill.

Wait a minute, you have strangers dropping off their electric bill in your mailbox?

Clearly I meant my own.

But I've had Amazon packages delivered to the wrong house too. Fortunately someone else did just drop it off at my house. Sure, the number is a bit dull, but still visible from the street, and the number is located in multiple spots on the house. The mailman even had chalk or something and wrote the number on the mailbox for some reason (despite one of those spots I mentioned being about 5 feet away from the mailbox).

I've had my neighbors mail get mixed in with mine, I just walk over. Most I've gone to return a letter was a couple houses down the street tbh.

I had to install/replace a toilet tonight at our home, which was built in 1957. The toilet bolts were rusted, the whole thing was a debacle. I have never had a lack of respect for plumbers, but holy hell, do I have a new found respect for them now. That's some nasty business, all the puns in a basket.

We got a new Kohler, though, and it's nice. The old toilet was having flushing issues and not just in the tank. I'm not sure what was going on, but I'm glad I replaced it all. I still have wax on my hands and what I hope is dirt and not crap. Such is life.

Start my new job today! So excited to settle in, find my groove and excel like I always have. Totally awesome feeling, I’m so grateful to everyone big and small I’ve met along the way that have inspired or influenced me to get to the point I am today. Just a kid who works his *** off and applies himself to everything I do. It feels like I don’t have to chase the dream anymore and I can just enjoy every moment more than I always have tried to.

Cheetos popcorn has been a huge seller here, they can't keep it stocked, have you tried the flaming hot popcorn? That seems to always be available.

I never even heard of that. Just like when I was checking out and the kid told me they apparently make Cheetos macaroni and cheese. Who knew? Not me.

This is the world we live in now, and I am okay with that.
